Kid's Group Piano
The piano is an ideal first instrument for children who want to learn to read music and play an instrument. It lays an excellent foundation for learning other instruments. Barbara Houghton has taught children, teens, and adults for over 20 years. She holds a Bachelors and Masters Degree in music with emphasis on early childhood education. Barbara uses Dalcroze Eurhythmics, the European method of natural rhythmic movement, for translating abstract musical concepts into concrete, lively movement games that children quickly and easily grasp.
