Master Brown
Master Brown has attained the rank of 5th degree black belt in Jin Moo Do, 5th degree black belt in Taekwondo, and 5th degree black belt in Hapkido. He began his martial arts journey in 1975 in Taekwondo-Moo Duk Kwan under the direction of Instructor Greg Murray and Grandmaster Ju Hun Kim. He has specialized training in Olympic sparring with Master Israel Collazo. Master Brown is the highest ranking master instructor in the United States in Jin Moo Do and continues to train under the instruction of Grandmaster Kim.
Master Brown’s rank affiliation is with the U.S. Jin Moo Martial Arts Association, International Pro Taekwondo Association, Kukkiwon, the Korean Hapkido Association, Korea Hapki Martial Arts Federations, International Mu Hak Hapkido Federation, and The Life Sports Hapkido Association. As a physician, his knowledge of anatomy and physiology helps to complement his highly technical teaching skills. Continually striving towards technical perfection by combining the body, mind, and spirit allows for the development of the complete martial artist.
